The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) and the National Australian Pharmacy Student Association (NAPSA) have signed an MOU, formalizing their ongoing partnership and commitment to supporting pharmacy students across Australia.
Signed on 18 November, the agreement was endorsed by APC Chair, Prof. Sarah Roberts-Thomson, and NAPSA National President, Sebastian Harper. This partnership aims to promote student engagement in accreditation discussions, participation in the APC IPE Colloquium™ event, and initiatives supporting First Nations pharmacy students.
APC Chair, Prof. Roberts-Thomson emphasized the importance of student participation in accreditation processes:
"Hearing students' perspectives on accreditation is crucial, as it directly impacts their future in pharmacy. We look forward to their valuable contributions."
NAPSA Chair, Sebastian Harper highlighted the significance of the first-ever agreement between APC and NAPSA:
"This agreement is a milestone for NAPSA. It supports our mission to expand networks for First Nations pharmacy students and foster meaningful student engagement in pharmacy education."
